Compliance Committee

The goal of the Willow Creek Compliance committee is to maintain general care and upkeep standards of homes within our community.

Compliance letters are typically sent to residents when they are not adhering to the rules and regulations set forth in the HOA's governing documents.

  • Architectural Changes:

Making structural or cosmetic changes to the exterior of your home without obtaining proper approvals from the HOA's architectural review committee.

    Landscaping Violations:

Failing to maintain your yard, lawn, or landscaping in accordance with the HOA's guidelines. This might include overgrown grass, weeds/weeds in flower or shrub beds or general unkempt landscaping, such as dead bushes, trees and shrubs.

    Exterior Maintenance:

Neglecting the upkeep of your home's exterior, which may include issues like moderate to substantially faded shutters peeling paint, damaged or missing siding/shutters, mold/mildew on the house siding/exterior, mold/mildew/chipping paint on mailbox posts or leaning mailbox posts.

    Misuse of Common Areas:

Engaging in activities or using common areas in a way that contravenes HOA rules.

    Vehicle Violations:

No trailer, boat or motor home over 3’ (three feet) in height can be parked over 12 hours in any one week on any property/driveway that is visible from the street.

When a resident receives a compliance letter, it typically serves as a formal notice of the violation and may include a request to rectify the issue within a specified timeframe. If the issue is not resolved, the HOA may take further actions, such as imposing fines, initiating legal proceedings, or pursuing other remedies outlined in the governing documents. It's important for homeowners to understand and follow the rules set by their HOA to avoid compliance issues and potential legal consequences.
